Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her weight loss journey and revealed how she lost 60lbs to reach her weight goal.
The 35-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star spoke candidly as she gave details during a Poosh livestream with sister Kourtney, 41.
Khloe said that she has hit her “weight vicinity goal” and has lost “almost 60 pounds” since giving birth to daughter True Thompson in 2018.
Sharing the secret of her success with viewers, the reality star said: “If you’re trying to lose a significant amount of weight, diet and exercise go hand in hand.
“Now that I’m in my weight vicinity goal – I’m around 150. It goes up a little. When it goes into the high 140s I’m like, ‘Woo! It’s the dream.'”
With the coronavirus pandemic leading to social distancing and a lockdown in force, Khloe revealed that she is currently focusing more on exercise than diet at the moment.
She continued: “In this world, I don’t really watch what I eat. That doesn’t mean I’m binge eating bags of chips all day.
“We have good diets, but I love quesadillas. I love anything True’s eating.”
Despite the dieting, Khloe insisted that she didn’t want to “live a miserable life” where she deprives herself of her favourite foods for the sake of keeping the pounds off.
Khloe continued: “You never know if tomorrow’s happening. I would rather put more effort into the gym than the kitchen.
“I know what to do if I need to buckle down.”
Kourtney had her say too and said that her dieting had led to learning how to “choose my calories wisely.”
This has meant that she has limited the amount of sweet treats she has and has binned off having sugary drinks.
The mum-of-three said: “For me, eating is a lifestyle. I love healthy foods as well. I love a great salad. I love good fruit. I think I balance it.”
She told Khloe that she has found that a Keto diet and intermittent fasting has worked well for her in the past.
Khloe urged fans that it was important to find a good balance between diet and exercise.
She said: “Once you get to your goal, it’s okay to maintain, and maintaining does not mean depriving yourself of the greatness of life.”
Khloe had previously revealed that when True was born, she was weighing in at 203lbs and that she “took it really slow” when it came to losing the baby weight.
She revealed: “I did it day by day. If I could get through that workout, I did. But you’re not going to get it back in a day.
“It took nine months to gain the weight, give yourself at least a year to take it off. You have to adjust.
“And you’re juggling with a baby and your life and trying to do those moments that are about you. You have to be kind and learn how to balance it all.”
